Apple Search Ads attribution and ROAS in Traqio
Straight answer first: Traqio does not connect to Apple Search Ads today. Our spend connectors are Meta and TikTok, so we cannot divide attributed revenue by ASA spend — and a number we cannot compute is not one we will sell you. Here is what we do measure on iOS, and what an ASA connector would add.
What works on iOS today
SKAdNetwork postbacks are ingested, signature-checked and decoded, and RevenueCat revenue is matched to the install that drove it. That gives you real iOS conversions and revenue — for the networks we map, which today are Meta and TikTok.
What does not work yet
There is no Apple Search Ads integration: no AdServices attribution token, no ASA campaign names, no ASA spend pull. ASA SKAN postbacks are recorded under “other” rather than under Apple Search Ads, so ROAS for ASA is not a number we can produce.
What the connector needs
Two pieces, in order: Apple’s AdServices attribution token to tie an install to an ASA campaign, then the Apple Search Ads Campaign Management API for daily spend. ROAS only becomes real once the spend side is pulled.
FAQ
- Can I see Apple Search Ads ROAS in Traqio today?
- No. ROAS is attributed revenue ÷ ad spend, and we do not pull Apple Search Ads spend. Meta and TikTok are the two networks wired end to end.
- Does the SDK collect anything useful for ASA?
- It records the install, and RevenueCat gives us the revenue that follows. What is missing is the link back to an ASA campaign — that needs Apple’s AdServices token, which we do not request yet.
- What should I use in the meantime?
- Apple Search Ads’ own reporting for ASA installs and spend, and Traqio for Meta/TikTok ROAS plus the revenue side. The free tier lets you get the revenue half running before ASA lands.
