SKAN conversion values, explained
SKAdNetwork sends a single small 'conversion value' per install instead of user-level data. Your conversion value schema decides what those numbers mean — revenue tiers, funnel steps — so you can turn coarse iOS signal into decisions.
6 bits, one postback
The classic SKAN conversion value is 0–63. You choose the encoding: revenue buckets, key events, or a mix, measured during the postback window.
Design for decisions
Map values to what you optimize on (e.g. D0 revenue tiers). Traqio stores raw postbacks and decodes them, so you can iterate the schema without guessing.
FAQ
- SKAN 3 vs SKAN 4?
- SKAN 4 adds coarse/fine values and multiple postback windows for longer measurement. Traqio handles the postbacks; the schema is yours to define.
