An MMP for indie apps: the same product at every price
A mobile measurement partner (MMP) is a third-party platform that attributes mobile app installs and in-app events to the advertising campaigns that caused them, and reconciles those counts across ad networks that each self-report. Traqio is a mobile measurement partner (MMP) that attributes app installs and post-install events to ad campaigns and reports return on ad spend, with per-conversion pricing published up front: 1,000 conversions free every month, then $0.05 per conversion, with the same features on every plan.
What Traqio costs
Traqio's free plan covers 1,000 conversions every month, and each conversion above that costs $0.05. A third tier, Enterprise, negotiates volume pricing and contract terms by conversation. No plan has a minimum spend, an annual commitment or a seat fee.
Traqio is in early access: sign-up and the free plan are fully self-serve today, while paid billing is not switched on yet. Usage above the free 1,000 conversions is not charged at the moment, and the published rate applies once billing opens.
- Free — 1,000 conversions per month, renewed every month.
- Pay-as-you-go — $0.05 per conversion above the free 1,000.
- Enterprise — volume pricing and contractual terms, by conversation; no additional features.
What counts as a conversion
In Traqio, a conversion is one attributed install or one post-install event that the customer chose to measure; organic installs are not billed. A conversion is a billing unit, which is different from Meta's “conversion event” and from the general marketing sense of any desired user action.
An app acquiring 400 attributed installs a month and measuring one purchase event that fires 300 times records 700 conversions — inside the free plan. The same app at 4,000 attributed installs and 2,000 measured events records 6,000 conversions: 1,000 free and 5,000 at $0.05, which is $250 at the published rate.
Organic installs are recorded as organic and never count toward the bill. The unit is the same one AppsFlyer bills, which states on its pricing page that organic, unattributed installs are not counted as conversions.
What the category normally costs
Most established MMPs do not publish a complete price list. AppsFlyer publishes $0.07 per conversion on its Growth plan and lists Enterprise as custom pricing; Singular publishes $0.05 per conversion on Growth; Adjust and Branch publish no price for any plan (vendor pricing pages, checked 2026-09).
Kochava publishes monthly plans rather than a per-conversion rate: Free App Analytics at $0 with 10,000 conversions a month, and paid plans “starting at $500/month” (kochava.com, checked 2026-09-19). Several MMPs, Traqio included, therefore offer a free tier; this page makes no claim that Traqio's is the largest, and it is not.
A published rate does not make Traqio the cheapest option at scale. Enterprise contracts at the established MMPs are negotiated privately, and a large account can land below $0.05. The claim that holds is narrower: Traqio's rate is published, identical for everyone and obtainable without a conversation. Each vendor is compared line by line on its own comparison page.
The same product at every tier
Traqio's three plans differ only in volume — the free plan includes the same attribution, ROAS, server-side forwarding and D0 cohorts as the paid ones. A developer sending 50 conversions a month uses exactly the same product as a studio sending 500,000.
At several established MMPs, features such as ad-spend aggregation, ad-revenue measurement or raw data access appear only on higher plans, according to their own pricing pages. Traqio's Enterprise tier unlocks no feature; it negotiates price and contract terms for large volume.
- Deterministic Android attribution through the Google Play Install Referrer, and SKAN postback verification and decoding on iOS.
- ROAS per campaign, ad set and ad, with Meta and TikTok spend pulled daily.
- Server-side forwarding to the Meta Conversions API and the TikTok Events API, with a shared event id for deduplication.
- Subscription and in-app purchase revenue from RevenueCat, and impression-level ad revenue from AdMob.
- Retention, ARPU and LTV cohorts counted from install day (D0).
Self-serve means no call before the full product
Starting with Traqio takes three steps and no conversation: create an account, add the SDK to the app, and connect the Meta and TikTok ad accounts. No demo, onboarding queue or minimum spend stands between sign-up and the full product.
The packaged SDK today is the React Native / Expo SDK; native Android, iOS, Flutter, Unity, Capacitor, Kotlin Multiplatform and .NET MAUI SDKs exist as source scaffolds and are not published packages yet. Teams on another stack should check the install guide before planning an integration.
The Enterprise tier is the one that involves a conversation, and it is optional: it exists for volume pricing and contract terms, not for access to a feature.
Do you even need an MMP?
An app advertising on a single network, without joining revenue to spend, often does not need an MMP yet. A single network's self-reported numbers are internally consistent; the double counting an MMP resolves only appears once two or more networks claim the same installs.
An MMP starts to pay for itself when a second paid network is added, when revenue has to be tied to the campaign that acquired each user, or when the team wants a count that no ad network produced about itself. Traqio's free plan exists so that the moment can be tested without a contract.
When an enterprise MMP is the better choice
An established MMP is the better choice when the measurement needs extend past two ad networks and mobile apps. Fraud protection, CTV and web attribution, deep linking and deferred deep linking, raw data export into a warehouse, incrementality testing, data clean rooms and spend pulled from many networks are all available from established MMPs and not from Traqio.
- Paid acquisition on Google Ads, Apple Search Ads or many ad networks — Traqio pulls spend from Meta and TikTok only.
- Granular click and view attribution inside Meta's and TikTok's own inventory, which requires listed measurement-partner status — Traqio is not listed yet (checked 2026-09).
- Procurement requirements such as SSO, audit logs or a negotiated SLA.
What Traqio deliberately does not do
Traqio does not fingerprint devices, does not read the pasteboard, does not model user-level iOS ROAS and does not collect the IDFA or the GAID. These are positions rather than gaps: Apple's user privacy guidance rules out fingerprinting for attribution, and SKAN data is campaign-level by design.
Traqio also has no data export endpoint today. Reports are read in the Traqio dashboard; a customer who needs raw data delivered to a warehouse should choose an MMP that ships it.
FAQ
- How much does a mobile measurement partner cost?
- Most MMPs price per conversion or per attributed install, and most do not publish a complete price list. Traqio publishes its price: 1,000 conversions free every month, then $0.05 per conversion, plus an Enterprise tier with negotiated volume pricing. AppsFlyer publishes $0.07 per conversion on Growth; Adjust and Branch publish no price (checked 2026-09).
- What is the difference between Traqio's free plan and its paid plans?
- Only volume. Traqio's three plans differ only in volume — the free plan includes the same attribution, ROAS, server-side forwarding and D0 cohorts as the paid ones. Enterprise negotiates volume pricing and contract terms, never features.
- What counts as a conversion in Traqio, and what am I billed for?
- In Traqio, a conversion is one attributed install or one post-install event that the customer chose to measure; organic installs are not billed. The first 1,000 conversions of every month are free, and each conversion above that is priced at $0.05.
- Does Traqio have a free tier?
- Yes. Traqio's free plan covers 1,000 conversions a month, renewed every month, with ROAS included and no sales call needed to get the full product. Other MMPs, including AppsFlyer, Singular, Adjust and Kochava, also publish free tiers of different shapes and sizes.
- Do I need to talk to sales to start using Traqio?
- No. Starting takes three self-serve steps: create an account, add the SDK to the app, and connect the Meta and TikTok ad accounts. The Enterprise tier involves a conversation, but it only negotiates volume pricing and contract terms.
- Is there a minimum ad spend or an annual commitment?
- No. Traqio has no minimum ad spend, no annual commitment and no seat fee, and ROAS is not gated behind any tier. ROAS is computed from the first attributed install and the first unit of campaign spend.
- Do I need an MMP if I only advertise on one network?
- Often not yet. A single ad network's self-reported numbers are internally consistent; an MMP earns its place when two or more networks claim the same installs, or when revenue has to be joined to the campaign that acquired each user.
- When is an enterprise MMP the better choice?
- An enterprise MMP is the better choice for fraud protection, CTV and web attribution, deep linking, raw data export, incrementality testing, data clean rooms, ad networks beyond Meta and TikTok, or procurement requirements such as SSO and a negotiated SLA. Traqio ships none of those.
- Traqio has an Enterprise tier too — isn't that the same sales wall?
- No. Traqio's Enterprise tier unlocks no feature: every feature, ROAS included, is already in the free plan. Enterprise exists to negotiate volume pricing and contract terms for large accounts. At MMPs whose plans list different feature sets, the conversation is how features are obtained; at Traqio it is only how a volume discount is obtained.
- Can I export my own data from Traqio?
- Not yet. Traqio has no raw data export and no data export endpoint today; reports are read in the Traqio dashboard. Teams that need raw data delivered to their own warehouse should choose an MMP that ships an export.
- What happens if I go over the free 1,000 conversions?
- Above the free 1,000 conversions, the published rate of $0.05 per conversion applies. Traqio is in early access and paid billing is not switched on yet, so usage above the free bucket is not charged today; nothing is blocked or degraded when the free bucket is exceeded.
